This is the first Judo uniform that I’ve invested in seriously. Previously, I only used unbranded ones that I bought on Lazada.

After doing a lot of research, reading reviews, and carefully going through the information on the Kusakura Shop website, I decided to go with the JOA.

I’m 1.70m tall and weigh 60 kg, so I hesitated quite a bit when choosing the size. In the end, I decided on 3YF for both the jacket and the pants.

From the moment I received the order confirmation email on February 12, 2026 (which was very detailed about each stage and required some time to complete), to March 23, 2026, I received an email from Leanna regarding a small issue related to the delivery information. She was very supportive and helped me resolve it, allowing the shipment to officially start from Tokyo, Japan on March 25, 2026 via FedEx.

The actual delivery arrived a few days later than expected (April 2, 2026, Ben Luc District, Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam), but overall I’m satisfied—although the import tax (20%) and VAT (8%) were quite surprising.

Now, about the Judo uniform itself: the box was larger than I had imagined and was securely sealed with tape. When I opened it-wow, I was impressed from the very first look. The feel of the fabric and how it sits on the body is truly satisfying. And fortunately, the fit is almost perfect for me. The jacket fits better around the body compared to my previous one, the sleeves are roomy, and somehow they hold a very nice shape. The pants are just slightly short-very slightly-but still fit well.

I’m completely satisfied with this investment and will definitely purchase more from KuSakura.

Added this to an order of rash guards and I do not regret it. It’s clearly a premium product and I look forward to earning higher grades so I can purchase more.

I have a 32 inch waist, 5”7, and 172 lbs. I ordered the medium and it provides the right amount of support (firm but not too tight or restrictive ). I bought it along with the medium sized short shirts (love them) and am very happy with both.

Worth adding a few to your order as gifts, especially for kids.

They look tiny when you pull them out of the box, but these are expertly designed and crafted to stretch and conform to your contours. I bought it along with the medium short sleeve rash guard, and am very happy (ecstatic) with both.

We are starting an adaptive and inclusive judo program in Canada. I ordered a white belt with @lacrossingbarriers on it in Japanese. Could not be happier. Wonderful customer service. Fantastic quality

Very happy with quality of the product, service, approach and dedication of the KuSakura team. Very light Judogi JOV, not used to the lightness and lapel is less thick than an old school one, but the quality is on the top level, sizing is just perfect like own skin. Will definitely order more and try the Sensei Judogi (JOA)

All the process of ordering was straight forward and arrived on the predicted date.

I recently bought the JOA (Sensei) and it is a really great judogi.
Wearing it as a coach it is the perfect fit, light and extremly durable at the same time.
I would not be my first choice for extensive training, but I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
I did a personal embroidery on the lower end of the lapel and on the trousers.
Also, I bought some years ago the belt JGK, it is in great shape, the one sided embroidery looks remarkable.
Needless to say, I will be back as a costumer.
